Jessica Alba has officially entered her Hot Girl Summer era!
After ending her long-time marriage to Cash Warren earlier this year, Alba is back on the dating scene–and a certain character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken notice. Despite rumors swirling between the 44-year-old actress and "Captain America: Brave New World’s" Danny Ramirez over the past few months, it appeared, at that time, to only be hearsay. However, Deuxmoi’s sources have seemingly confirmed a romance brewing between the two Hollywood A-listers.
As discussed in Deux/U’s May 29th podcast episode, The Sun published a series of photos capturing Alba at Regents Park with a handsome, unidentified gentleman. It was unclear just who accompanied her on this wholesome stroll, but their garden visit was arguably romantic–as they were seen holding hands and supposedly kissing. Fans were convinced Alba’s mystery man was the 32-year-old actor, who was conveniently shooting the upcoming "Avengers: Doomsday" in London.
Subsequently, Deuxmoi received an email that allegedly “Alba and Ramirez have [been] a couple since February. They already knew each other, but things kicked into gear after he attended her annual [Culture] Makers event at her house.” TBD on its validity, but we can assume that some romantic roots had been planted…whether at that event or within the British green space. In fact, an additional source said to Deuxmoi that the dating rumors were “100% true,” and “they’re together.”
Further thickening the plot, a Deuxmoi tipster eyed them at Paris Hilton’s birthday bash on February 22nd. The source recalled that Ramirez had been on Raya, “but it’s been a minute” since his profile wasin rotation. How ironic…
But Alba’s presence at the infamous Bezos-Sanchez wedding extravaganza in late June could have muddied the waters for Ramirez’s public perception, so the story goes.
Mentioned on Deux/U’s July 10th podcast episode, a source alleged to Deuxmoi that “Danny Ramirez was told to take a step back with Alba after she was seen at Jeff Bezos’s wedding.” The source added that “there were whispers that it wasn’t the best look to keep being seen with her image-wise, nothing super confirmed obviously, but enough for the team to quietly advise some distance.” The source noted there was “never” any type of widely-known romance between them. Taking a quick scan of Alba and Ramirez’s social media interactions, the source attributed Ramirez not liking two of Alba’s Instagram posts after the wedding to good ol’ PR–though he continued regularly liking her photos thereafter.
Fast forward to a few days later: TMZ procured images of the starlet and Ramirez jetting out of Cancún on a flight back to Los Angeles. Subsequently People published an article on their relationship status, confirming via a source that “it’s very new,” and “they’re having a good time together.” In the world of celebrity gossip and pop culture, it is common for publicists to act under the guise of an unofficial source to disseminate exclusive information more nonchalantly. While Alba and Ramirez have presumably soaked up some R&R across the pond and under the sun, a separate source told People that “she’s not interested in a relationship right now.”
So there you have it. Alba is doing her thing. Yes, she’s seeing Ramirez, but that doesn’t mean their summer fling will last forever. Perhaps the Falcon will fly Down Under to visit the brunette beauty on the set of her new film, "The Mark", co-starring recently single Orlando Bloom.
Birds of a feather…hook up together?
