Rumors are rumors until they’re not.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom seemingly have it all: a beautiful life, a gorgeous family, and a love so big it can be blasted onto the radio. But is it too good to be true?
As Deuxmoi was the first to report back in February via a blind item within the Deuxmoi newsletter, the long-time couple may be on the rocks, much like media outlets have recently suggested. In the May 8th Deux/U podcast episode, Deuxmoi discussed just what might be going on with the duo—and the musician’s consistently not-so-great media coverage.
Perry has faced unreasonably harsh judgment for both her involvement in the female-led Blue Origin’s NS-31 mission and her ongoing Lifetimes Tour, which has faced poor reviews and backlash. The Grammy-nominated performer even defended herself in a lengthy Instagram comment, acknowledging that “the ‘online’ world tries to make [her] a human piñata.” Deuxmoi’s analysis? Give the woman a break! Everyone deserves a bit of grace, especially when she has not toured in a minute, and her personal life is in the hotseat.
As if social media and the likes have not had enough to say about the songstress, attention naturally swirled toward her relationship status with Bloom, with whom she shares a four-year-old daughter. Back in 2016-17, the couple initially had an on/off relationship, though they mended fences and have been engaged since 2019. But a six-year engagement does not bode well for cyber bullies or the superstar’s own morale.
Whispers have turned into audible sentences as a rumored relationship rift continues to produce online chatter. While nothing is confirmed, Deuxmoi has heard similar sentiments. Their once hot-and-heavy romance is not filled with those same fireworks, as a source close to Deuxmoi intimated. In fact, one half of the power couple *allegedly* might not be as invested as it appears…
