BRAVO UPDATES: RHONJ, RHONY, & RHOBH!

Update 8/11/25: The drama surrounding the cast of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has taken yet another turn! After our initial report was contradicted by Melissa Gorga herself (per our Deuxmoi subscribers—ever the diligent detectives), our original source, who provided the initial intel, has now come back with a major update, with sincere apologies for being fed false information.

According to our source, the cast returning for the next season will allegedly be the Gorgas (Melissa and Joe), Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs, alongside a mix of new women who are allegedly test-filming very soon. This news is a direct contradiction of the previous report that had Teresa Giudice returning alongside Melissa. Our source now believes that Teresa's camp may have been pushing that narrative to excite the audience, as Bravo reportedly had "multiple scenarios in play all at once."

We at Deuxmoi do not like to be in the middle of false narratives pushed by celebrity teams, and we appreciate our source's quick apology and correction.

The source continued that the protracted casting process and money were allegedly the ultimate issues, and the delays were allegedly due to negotiations and casting. This seems to be a common theme in the Bravo universe, where OG talent is either fired or forced to take a significant pay cut. Our source believes that the returning cast, particularly the Gorgas, may have accepted a "massive pay cut" to secure their spots, although this information is not confirmed. They even speculate that Margaret Josephs may have taken a "small episodic rate." The source suggests the initial false information about the entire cast returning could have been a negotiation tactic from a specific cast member.

The big news for Teresa fans is that she is allegedly getting a spin-off show, though details remain scarce at this time. So, while she may not be returning to RHONJ as we know it, she's not leaving our screens entirely.

Bravo makes no bones about it: the network loves drama! While several Real Housewives’ franchises have slowly dipped back into filming their respective upcoming seasons, familiar and new faces have entered the chat. Deuxmoi has been told that some cast members have allegedly been finalized for the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" though New York is another story.

Discussed on Deux/U’s August 7th podcast episode, an exclusive source told Deuxmoi that “Teresa [Giudice], Melissa [Gorga], and Dolores [Catania] are allegedly coming back. Bravo has New Jersey slated to start filming ahead of New York City.” The source forecasted RHONJ’s filming to begin in November. Despite initial speculation, we do not foresee Catania joining the Rhode Island franchise after all. Additionally, it’s being predicted that Margaret Josephs will not return for the upcoming season, per the insider. Another source revealed that “allegedly there will be three new cast members and maybe one new friend, so there’ll be six full-time New Jersey cast housewives.”

As for its nearby counterpart? Well, RHONY won’t be at the forefront, as casting has not been finalized. On top of this, Deuxmoi heard from a source that “Bravo lost a lot of money on the RHONY reboot.” Further thickening the plot, the source stated “that cast members were allegedly paid between $75,000 - $100,000 for the [first] season and received a 25% bump for season two.” While this is hearsay at this point, the source repeated whispers that supposedly “Bravo spent millions on the marketing of the reboot.”

And what would RHOBH be without some tension brewing between new and returning cast members?

Just last weekend, Deuxmoi posted an insider’s video of newbie Rachel Zoe and fan favorites Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley dancing at Surf Lodge in Montauk last week. (On an aside, Kemsley has since been seen filming a shopping scene on Rodeo Drive.) Per Deuxmoi’s source, “allegedly Rachel Zoe is livid that Denise Richards is back with an A-storyline. That is not what she agreed to when she agreed to come on the show.” But why were certain familiar faces missing from the camera lens? According to the source, “Rachel won’t film with Denise one-on-one.” Perhaps Zoe has an ongoing feud with Richards for reasons yet to be revealed, or she simply wanted the spotlight for her housewife debut.

ICYMI, Richards has had her fair share of drama in the last few years. As chronicled in the limited run of "Denise Richards & Her Wild Things", Richards rarely keeps a room quiet for long. Headlines have recently swirled around her divorce to Aaron Phypers—with serious claims of him being physically abusive to her. Richards’ previous run on RHOBH was painted with guarded, often robotic behavior, lacking the liveliness we expected from her. IDK about you, but we cannot wait for the unfiltered Richards to be unleashed.

As we await official confirmation (and future teaser trailers) from Bravo, Daddy Andy is surely salivating in anticipation of these shows’ reunions...
