REAL HOUSEWIVES OF RHODE ISLAND + MORE
Bravolebrities have become just as important in the Deuxmoi community as a traditional A-lister. And as Deuxmoi has been teasing for weeks, Bravo has officially announced the latest installation in the Real Housewives franchise: Rhode Island! Buckle up though, as the tea is only beginning to brew, as reported in Deux/U’s most recent May 15th episode.
Despite the new series presumably filming in Providence, a certain familiar face may be appearing from the Garden State. Allegedly, fan favorite "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member Dolores Catania is moving to Rhode Island and will join the RHORI cast. A source informed Deuxmoi that “allegedly Dolores ‘bought’ but [probably] rented a beach house in South County for the summer,” which would be perfect timing for filming. Deuxmoi cannot confirm its verity and/or how that news would affect the fate of RHONJ (and the cast dynamics themselves), but rumors are rumoring up a storm about this potential housewife surprise.
Additionally, Deuxmoi received a very lengthy, anonymous email dropping major spoilers and seemingly confirming many of Deuxmoi’s leads on new cast members. Of course, Bravo has not dropped the official cast announcement, so don’t be quoting Deuxmoi *yet*.
Our native source prefaced that Rhode Island’s community and accompanying social scene are “extremely small and this cast is 99% confirmed via word of mouth and huge social media context clues.” The insider cited seven cast members (and lots of drama), but Catania was noticeably absent from the list.
Without further ado, Deuxmoi presents "The (most likely) Real Housewives of Rhode Island" cast:
Our source spilled that McGraw is in her “late 40s.” [She] and her husband own a dispensary in Providence and are very wealthy. They also were named in a criminal investigation, another well-knowndrug dealer in Rhode Island, who has a current case open.” The nitty-gritty legal turmoil has some lethal connections. We can only wonder how that will play out on camera.
Another tipster divulged to Deuxmoi that “Dolores is friends with Elizabeth McGraw in real life.” With a quick Instagram search, both Catania and McGraw follow each other, further fueling that connection.
DiMare is in her “early 30s, the least favorite of all…by many, many fans and girls of Rhode Island", according to our source. Just what did the lifestyle TV host do? Well, for starters, she isn’t actually from Rhode Island, which doesn’t bode well for ride-or-die Rhode Islanders. In fact, “she is not well-liked in the state", our source continued. Upping the ante, DiMare “bought a house literally right after being cast and moved here to film.” And as for her other half? Our source said “her husband is a Frank Sinatra impersonator, and she was a TV personality on a local news channel.” Perhaps unrelated, but DiMare is friendly with Melissa and Joe Gorga on social media, as seen at an event circa August 2024. Was this her introduction into the Bravo family?
The entrepreneur is a “gorgeous, mid-30s mom.” Her “husband is very successful in real estate, and she’s got a nice career of her own in the med spa industry.” Our source alleged that Tiberi gravitates toward “being a little crazy and flying off the handle and also being shady.” Plus, she is “not always abiding by girl code.” We foresee a villain in the works.
Carmody is a “gorgeous, mid-30s hairdresser” who “married an older man with a very successful chain of pizza restaurants, and he opened one up just for her called Pizza Mamma.” The newbie’s face is literally on the top of each pizza box. We suppose that’s love when you have plenty of dough to go around.
Her hubby may or may not be a “pumpkin eater,” which we are sure the ladies (and Andy) will be dishing about in the debut season. Saucy.
The “very successful” Certified Financial Planner is in her “mid 40s and married to a very successful podiatrist.” Pontarelli didn’t become a Pontarelli without some strife – she was allegedly “the other woman,” as her now-husband was previously married. “His ex-wife found out, and they got divorced.” Will she be on every housewife's radar?
Former Miss Rhode Island USA 2017 turned glam artist is in her “early 30s, and she has been dating her boyfriend for a year maybe.” Despite remaining on the DL, said boyfriend allegedly “had an investigation or two with insurance fraud.” Not so ironically, “his father went to prison” for the same type of fraud “when [they] were kids.” We can already see a very awkward at-home couch conversation between the two lovebirds.
The soon-to-be star wouldn’t come without her fair share of baggage. Word around the Ocean State is that she was previously “in a long-term open relationship with a very well-known judge’s son,” whose father is “known for his theatrics in the courtroom and loved being filmed for his own show.” It gets juicier, as Swanson’s alleged past polyamorous relationship“ included NDAs.” As in, he’d trek around the globe with his “girlfriend” and then play around once they’d head back home.
Pass is the “wife of former Patriots player, Patrick Pass.” New England appears to be filled with legal investigations galore, as her husband “has an open criminal case right now for assaulting an [elderly] man at Planet Fitness.” Pass shares two daughters with the retired NFL player.
Deuxmoi’s source went on to say that these women aren’t in similar social circles. Think “very forced hangouts” meets “B-Team” vibes.
Several prominent, Rhode Island-based women, who “were all friends,” declined the job. Simply, the successful women wished to preserve their “personal lives and businesses.” Brianna LaTorre, Daria Mancini, Genna Mollo, and the Tasca girls all passed on the opportunity, per our source.
On another Bravo note, Deuxmoi previously mentioned that two additional Real Housewives shows, Chicago and Seattle, were in the works. While Seattle’s fate is TBD, Chicago is not happening on the Bravo front, which was clarified in the May 12th Deuxmoi Newsletter. “A local Chicago-based production company” will be creating "Trophy Wives", in hopes of catching the reality TV network’s eye, so a source says.
And as for the King of Bravo? Andy Cohen is not going anywhere despite rumors earlier this year of the boss man leaving Bravo.
