TOM BRADY AT THE CENTER OF A VICTORIA’S SECRET LOVE TRIANGLE?
What started as speculation surrounding a possible falling out between longtime friends and Victoria’s Secret models Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel has turned into a much bigger story, with Tom Brady seemingly at the center of it all.
Over the past several days, Deuxmoi was the first to recieve information suggesting that Brady was romantically involved with both women at different points, potentially explaining why their once-close friendship appears to have ended.
Here’s everything we know so far.
The speculation began when fans noticed that Joan and Candice hadn’t been photographed together recently. Some pointed out that Joan had reportedly unfollowed Candice on Instagram, while others claimed the two appeared noticeably distant during this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Things escalated when a screenshot circulated online appearing to show Joan responding to a follower who asked whether she and Candice were still friends. Her alleged response was, “I’m not friends with backstabbers.” The comment has reportedly been deleted, and Deuxmoi was unable to independently verify its authenticity.
Shortly after sharing the speculation, Deuxmoi received information alleging that Joan and Tom Brady had dated on and off for approximately a year. According to the tip, Candice reportedly cautioned Joan about the relationship out of respect for Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, with whom Candice had worked at Victoria’s Secret.
The source claimed that after Joan and Tom’s relationship ended, Candice became romantically involved with Brady herself. While the exact timeline of Joan and Tom’s alleged relationship remains unclear, Joan subsequently appeared to acknowledge the love triangle speculation.
After Deuxmoi shared the information, Joan commented on a Just Jared Instagram post covering the story, writing, “Two words: SUMMER HOUSE! That’ll explain everything.”
For anyone unfamiliar with Bravo’s “Summer House,” one of the show’s most talked-about storylines involved Ciara Miller, West Wilson and Amanda Batula. After previously dating Ciara, West became romantically involved with Amanda, who was also Ciara’s friend. Although Joan didn’t mention Brady or Candice by name, the comparison certainly raised eyebrows.
As for Brady and Candice, Deuxmoi was the first outlet to share information about their alleged romance on the Deux/U podcast in July. At the time, the information came from a single source. Following the episode, multiple additional sources corroborated the alleged relationship.
When Deuxmoi first received information about Brady and Candice’s alleged relationship, sources suggested the two were planning to go public with their romance over the summer. However, we’re now hearing that Brady’s reported hookup with Alix Earle at Michael Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons may have thrown a wrench into those plans.
Back in July, Deuxmoi reported that Brady had allegedly been affectionate with Earle at the event. Multiple sources claimed the two were flirting, sharing discreet kisses and even disappeared together for a period of time.
Despite the apparent setback, sources indicate that Brady and Candice have since resumed seeing each other. There is currently no indication that Brady and Earle are romantically involved.
Adding another layer to the story, Deuxmoi recently received an anonymous submission claiming Brady and Candice’s relationship is already well known within Indian Creek, the exclusive Miami-area island community where Brady owns a home. According to the anonymous tipster, the two are together and haven’t been particularly discreet about their relationship.
Interestingly, despite the growing number of tips, Brady and Candice have yet to be publicly photographed together. The same applies to Brady and Joan.
And there’s another Victoria’s Secret connection worth revisiting: Irina Shayk.
Brady and Shayk were first photographed together in Los Angeles in July 2023. They were subsequently linked throughout that summer, including sightings in London and New York. Following reports that their romance had cooled, the two were spotted together again in Miami in December 2023 and at dinner in New York City in January 2024. Reports of another possible rekindling surfaced in February 2025.
The connection is particularly interesting given that Irina and Candice were also reportedly friends. Fans have recently pointed out that Irina appears to no longer follow Candice on Instagram, although there’s no evidence linking that apparent change to Brady.
Of course, Brady was previously married to one of Victoria’s Secret’s most recognizable former Angels, Gisele Bündchen, making his repeated connections to women within the modeling world difficult to overlook.
So where does everything stand?
According to the information Deuxmoi has received, Brady and Candice appear to be seeing each other again, Joan’s comments suggest there’s more to the breakdown of their friendship, and the exact timing of the alleged relationships remains the biggest unanswered question.
Neither Brady, Candice nor Joan has publicly confirmed the alleged romantic overlap.
