SELENA GOMEZ & BENNY BLANCO’S WEDDING WEEKEND
After Selena Gomez and her forever love Benny Blanco went Instagram official with their engagement last September, we have been anxiously awaiting the couple’s nuptials. Well, the time has finally come. Amidst a jaw-dropping guest list and rumors galore, the collaborators and soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. will be saying their vows in California this weekend.
As reported on Deux/U’s September 18th podcast episode, Gomez and Blanco’s wedding details were leaked early on in the planning process. Deuxmoi chose to respectfully keep the specificities on the DL, though a September wedding has been on the calendar for quite some time. Of course, the usual suspects will be in attendance, but there is plenty of room for surprises.
Less than 24 hours ago, an exclusive source revealed that allegedly “[Swift] was at the Paul McCartney show at the Santa Barbara Bowl.” Given Swift’s long-time friendship with Gomez, it would only make sense that The Life of a Showgirl superstar would be in the area for her besties nuptials. An additional exclusive source reaffirmed to Deuxmoi that Swift was in fact at the show, adding, “security did mention that [a no phones out policy] would be implemented because of ‘someone’ that arrived.” Adding another veritable layer to our stance, the same source spilled to Deuxmoi that “security was on lock” after the songstress allegedly arrived and “everyone was mentioning [Swift] was in the back.” Based upon our sources’ statements, we can assume she potentially made a concert pitstop, said hello to Sir McCartney, and presumably continued onward to attend her best friend’s nearby pre-wedding festivities.
So who else is going to witness the newlyweds get their love on?
Deuxmoi has secured images of her "Only Murders in the Building" co-stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Paul Rudd in the area for the festivities. Joining his fiancée, a reputable source divulged to Deuxmoi that allegedly “Travis Kelce will be arriving shortly and Lana Del Rey and JLo [were] also spotted last night arriving.” We will be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for additional arrivals and their celebratory attire.
As the “I Do” countdown nears, we have a few things on our minds: Selena’s dress, the wedding party (is Swift a bridesmaid?), the speeches, and the epic entertainment. Deuxmoi could not be more elated for the bride and groom!
