SELENA GOMEZ ALLEGEDLY DMs HAILEY BIEBER

After Justin Bieber’s Instagram post (which he has since edited) on Hailey Bieber’s Vogue Summer cover, tensions have presumably been high at the Bieber household.

But wait, there’s more…

An exclusive source told Deuxmoi that allegedly Selena Gomez personally reached out to Hailey on Instagram…and Hailey *accidentally* opened the message. So who did the Rhode founder call in for backup? None other than best friend Kylie Jenner.

Contextually, Justin has posted a plethora of questionable content and captions as of late. It comes as no surprise (well, maybe Hailey’s) that he continued this type of behavior on the day of his wife’s Vogue release. Earlier this week, in a congratulatory meets unhinged caption, Justin references a past argument, where he told Hailey that “she would never be on the cover of Vogue.” He derails, adding that “because he felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even.” He apologizes to her at the end of the cringey monologue. He has since updated the caption with several emojis.

But clearly the damage was already done.

So the story goes, per Deuxmoi’s exclusive source, that allegedly Gomez messaged Hailey about the Vogue debacle on Instagram. Hailey may have had a case of butterfingers because our source indicated that the model "accidentially opened it [Gomez's DM)] and didn't know whether or not to respond". Our source continued that Hailey was allegedly “fielding calls about what to do the whole day and Kylie Jenner came over to councel her.”

Just yesterday, Gomez posted an Instagram story that may or may not have been for Hailey’s eyes. Featuring an empowering post from an affirmation-type account. Gomez wrote a cryptic message alongside the story: “You know who you are and I’m cheering you on.” While the Hailey nod is speculative at this point, fans think Gomez is trying to extend an additional olive branch to her. After all, both women (and makeup moguls) are very familiar with Justin’s range of emotions. Perhaps, Gomez's IG post indicated that Hailey did decide to respond to Gomez's DM.

No word on Justin’s reaction to the exchange, though we can imagine he’ll be singing “Sorry” for the foreseeable future…
