After Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade ended their on/off four-year relationship in May, the former couple diverted their efforts elsewhere. Juggling her own beauty and fashion career, the social media personality has not had a shortage of male attention since the split. After allegedly hanging out with Glen Powell over the last few months, Elordi seemingly swooped in and stole her heart yet again. Deuxmoi’s various pieces of intel all share a common theme: Jade may have successfully made Elordi jealous with Mr. Powell.
Just how and when did this all begin?
If you have followed along over the past several months, Deuxmoi has consistently addressed speculation surrounding Powell’s relationship with a mystery brunette. Spending a considerable amount of time filming an upcoming project in London, Powell was seen out and about with a certain someone–though her identity was kept under lock and key. As detailed on Deux/U’s September 11th podcast episode: the mystery girl may have been Olivia Jade!
First and foremost, let’s rewind to May 2025: Elordi and Jade called it quits, for good. One of Deuxmoi’s sources spilled “on very, very, very good authority that Olivia and Jacob broke up in May, and she allegedly broke up with him.” Soon after the breakup, Jade spent time in Europe with her family, alongside temporarily moving to Paris, France in July. And who was conveniently a short train or plane ride away? A handsomely rugged companion named Glen Powell.
An exclusive Deuxmoi source spilled that the beauty and fashion influencer “was seeing Glen.” Thickening the plot further, a separate tipster divulged to Deuxmoi that "Glen and Olivia were spotted this summer in Paris.” Raising our own eyebrows, the low-key “friends” were vibing at the luxe Hȏtel Costes.
But as the temperatures cooled down in September, Jade’s love life heated up even more.
Over Labor Day weekend, Jade and Powell were pictured having dinner together in the Big Apple, seemingly joined by both sets of their parents. Witnessing the dynamic IRL, a source indicated to Deuxmoi that it was “definitely a date night and seemed as though their parents were meeting.” Continuing their adventures into the night, a Deuxmoi sleuth eyed the influencer and actor making an after-hours visit to a Dimes Square bar–leaving together in the same car around 2:00AM.
While meeting the parents seemed promising, it may have been a short-lived summer fling.
On Tuesday, Elordi re-entered the chat, courtesy of "Frankenstein"’s Toronto International Film Festival premiere. Unexpectedly, Jade was seen supporting her ex at the screening. Patiently waiting for the man of the hour to finish his press obligations, Jade joined Elordi as they walked up the stairs together (and he even held the train of her dress). A source said to Deuxmoi that “he [allegedly] wanted to walk the red carpet with her. And allegedly her team shut it down.” Adding further proof of Elordi’s romantic pursuit, another one of Deuxmoi’s very dependable sources noticed the exes getting friendly with each other at the "Frankenstein" after party. The source said that “Jacob had his hands on her knee, and there was a lot of ear whispering between them.” IDK about you, but exes are rarely touchy feely with each other unless something else is brewing.
Deuxmoi’s unofficial diagnosis? Elordi received word of his ex-girlfriend canoodling with Powell, which could have prompted Jade’s subsequent invitation to TIFF–igniting their rekindling. After a breakup, the heart either grows fonder or begins to wander, and Elordi’s may have moved in the former direction. Perhaps Jade played both men to her advantage. Hot Girl Summer does not last forever, so who can blame a beautiful girl for playing the field (and maybe a few heart strings)?
