KIM KARDASHIAN VISITS SAN DIEGO PRISON WHERE MENENDEZ BROTHERS ARE INCARCERATED

Kim Kardashian recently made a visit to the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California to meet with prisoners and discuss the issue of prison reform.

The Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility is the prison where infamous brothers Lyle and Eric Menendez are currently incarcerated.

Interestingly, accompanying Kardashian on her private plane was Cooper Koch, the actor who portrayed Eric Menendez in the Netflix series "Monsters-The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story". The series has received criticism from both brothers with Erik specifically stating:

"I believed we had moved beyond the lies and ruinous character portrayals of Lyle, creating a caricature of Lyle rooted in horrible and blatant lies rampant in the show. I can only believe they were done so on purpose. It is with a heavy heart that I say, I believe Ryan Murphy cannot be this naive and inaccurate about the facts of our lives so as to do this without bad intent."

The presence of Koch, who has likely become familiar with the realities of incarceration through his role, adds an extra layer of significance to the visit.

Kardashian has been a vocal advocate for prison reform in recent years, using her platform to raise awareness about the issues facing incarcerated individuals. While the details of Kardashian's interactions with the prisoners remain private, it is clear that her visit was a meaningful opportunity to connect with individuals directly affected by the criminal justice system.
