IS JOE JONAS’S LOVE LIFE BURNIN’ UP?
Joe Jonas might be pining over a “Honey Blonde” on Music for People Who Believe in Love, but he has had eyes on a brunette beauty this summer!
Officially finalizing his divorce from Sophie Turner in September 2024, Jonas has slowly dipped his toes back into the dating pool. Remaining ever on our radar, Deuxmoi has received exclusive sightings of the singer out and about with several mystery girls in the last few months. While little is known about his relationship to any of these women, he certainly has a type: brunettes with creative roots.
An exclusive source shared with Deuxmoi that “Jonas has been walking around [New York City] with a tall, dark haired mystery woman with long hair.” Sending in an accompanying photo of Jonas and the female on a stroll, the woman was briefly left unidentified. Thanks to a social media sleuth from the Deuxmoi community, it was surmised that it was María Isabel Severino, a 29-year-old Dominican R&B singer and model. And conveniently, Severino posted an Instagram Story highlight on July 5th, mirroring the sighting’s outfit.
But this was not their first public interaction.
Flash back to May: TMZ posted images of a deeply engaged Jonas having drinks with the back of an unidentified dark-haired female at Schmuck. (which Jonas follows) in the East Village. The girl’s voluminous hair and physique share a striking resemblance to Severino’s own figure.
Seemingly confirming our own suspicions, an exclusive source confirmed to Deuxmoi that allegedly “Joe has been seeing [Severino] for a couple months now.” It sounds as if Jonas has found a low-key summer baby in the New York-based musician.
While Jonas and Severino do not follow each other on Instagram, they do share a mutual acquaintance in DJ Mikey Deleasa, a close-knit member within the Jonas circle. Not only is he supporting the Jonas Brothers on the road, but Deleasa is one of Joe’s besties, Kevin’s brother-in-law (Danielle Jonas’s brother), and a friend of Severino’s, even commenting back and forth on her Instagram posts.
Meanwhile on the 305 scene and beyond, a source recently whispered to Deuxmoi that “[they] know one of the girls Joe Jonas is seeing. She’s a Miami girl connected in the art world.” TBD the nature, time frame, and validity of that claim. Along a similarly cryptic vein, another source eyed “Joe Jonas with two different [women] in the last few days.” Frequently hopping between his places in New York and Miami, Jonas is a social, go-go-go guy, so it is hard to say if he was merely hanging out with these women in a platonic or romantic sense.
A doting father, brother, and performer, Jonas has been single for a minute. Last October, Deuxmoi clocked the singer making googly eyes with yet another brunette in Paris, hours after he and his brothers played a show in the City of Lights. Prior to this, he was briefly linked to Laila Abdallah and model Stormi Bree, dating the latter for the earlier half of 2024.
With the Jonas Brothers’ North American tour running until November, we wonder if Jonas will lock Severino down for cuffing season–perhaps taking in some romantic R&R in slow motion…
