THE COMEDIC COUPLE CALL IT QUITS AFTER 14 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher, a Hollywood couple known for their playful dynamic and successful careers, have announced their divorce after 14 years of marriage.

The news, revealed on both their Instagram stories, was delivered with a touch of their signature wit. Referring to their relationship as "a long tennis match lasting over twenty years," they announced they "filed to end our marriage" in 2023.  While the specific reasons remain private, their statement emphasizes a continued devotion to their three children and a request for privacy.

This news comes as very sad and surprising to the couple’s fans. Interestingly, Deuxmoi might have had an idea of the impending split several months ago.

On the October 5, 2023 Deux/U podcast episode, Deuxmoi discussed celebrity divorces and included an interesting piece of intel we had received earlier that week. An exclusive source reported, “There have been a lot of celebs seeking divorce advice from Laura Wasser, a popular attorney to celebrities, who aren’t public yet.”

In the podcast episode, Deuxmoi gave vague clues as to who the couple was. “They’re a very well known and lovely B-list couple. He’s a comedian/actor. She’s also an actress and has been in a bunch of rom-coms,” Deuxmoi explained. Other clues provided were, “neither of them are American” and that they have children together.

Divorce is never easy, and we wish the Cohen family all the privacy and space they need to navigate this difficult time.
