[DEUXMOI EXCLUSIVE] A SWIFTIE SMACKDOWN OR SOMEONE ELSE?

Pop detectives are on the case again! Charli XCX's fiery new track "Sympathy is a Knife" has ignited speculation amongst fans, with some convinced it throws shade at none other than Taylor Swift.

Lyrics like "This girl taps my insecurities, don't know if it's real or if I'm spiraling" and the not-so-subtle wish for a rival's relationship to implode have Swifties clutching their pearls. However, according to an exclusive Deuxmoi source, the song isn't a targeted diss track at Swift. The source explains, “People are going to draw lines and think it’s about Swift. But it is NOT. It’s about another actress that started hanging around trying to latch onto a (1975) band member, but at the time, he was dating someone else and she got him to step out. Him and said actress are currently still dating, but clearly Charli wished they would break up.”

One thing's for sure - "Sympathy is a Knife" has sliced through the internet, undoubtedly leaving many Swifties on the defensive.
