AMANDA BATULA & WEST WILSON WEDDING TOUR CONTINUES
"Summer House" cast members Amanda Batula and West Wilson were spotted in Asheville, North Carolina, this weekend for a wedding that West allegedly officiated. The pair were also seen around Asheville throughout the weekend, seemingly enjoying some time away from the usual "Summer House" discourse.
According to a guest who encountered the couple, they had no idea who Amanda and West were or what had played out on television. While explaining why some viewers have been critical of them, West reportedly said they were on a show with “Amanda’s ex and my ex.” Amanda quickly corrected him, responding, “She’s not really your ex,” seemingly referring to Ciara Miller.
The exchange stood out given that much of the backlash surrounding the relationship stems from the fact that Amanda is now dating her best friend’s former romantic interest. While West appeared to simplify the situation for someone unfamiliar with the show, many viewers have viewed the circumstances quite differently.
The couple has largely continued to move forward despite the criticism, and for one weekend at least, it seems they were able to spend time around people who weren’t already invested in every detail of the "Summer House" fallout.
Their next wedding stop is set for July in Montana, where they're reportedly attending another celebration.
