THE WHITE LOTUS SEASON 4 FILMING SPOILERS

Warning: potential spoilers below!

Whether you are a Mike White aficionado, Rick and Chelsea stan (IYKYK), or just in it for the plot, "The White Lotus" is packing its bags and taking its fourth season abroad yet again. After the most recent season wrapped up in Thailand with a boatload of cast drama, the next season’s exotic locale has been on the top of fans’ minds. Will the powers that be take it to the mountains, keep it coastal, or perhaps somewhere we would never anticipate? Let’s just say Deuxmoi has an inkling that it’s giving luxe Mediterranean seaside vibes…with a tentative twist.

The upcoming season will allegedly be filmed in the South of France. On September 6th, an exclusive source told Deuxmoi that supposedly “The White Lotus was spotted filming in Monaco,” though more specifically Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel. ICYMI, "The White Lotus" has a marketing partnership with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, so there was always a chance that an idyllic French backdrop could be a viable contender. Given the destination’s affinity for summer travel, a fall-to-winter filming timeframe would not only be convenient, it would ward off potential fans and tourists alike.

But what would "The White Lotus" be without showrunner Mike White throwing an unexpected curveball into the mix?

On September 26th, a Deuxmoi tipster allegedly eyed “Mike White and Jennifer Coolidge at Matsuhisa in St. Tropez with another man [they] couldn’t place.” This sighting could be telling of the show’s plotline, specifically involving the fatal demise of Tanya, the aloof, yet endearing heiress. Near and far, fans became invested in Coolidge’s character, yet her naivety and longing for companionship left her overboard for good–or so we thought.

While the dinner could have simply been a friendly reunion between White and Coolidge, Deuxmoi has a sneaking suspicion that White has something up his sleeve with Tanya’s fate. It is worth noting that Saint-Tropez and Cap-Ferrat are approximately a two-hour drive from each other. However, if White and Coolidge enlisted a helicopter service like Blade, the journey is under 30 minutes.

So while we don’t know what exactly is going on with the fourth season, we can guarantee the latest iteration will have us glued back into our Sunday night ritual. Tanya, we’re rooting for you!
