STRANGER MOVIES HAVE HAPPENED
Fans are on the edge of their seats, wondering what’s next for the “Stranger Things” franchise. And this week’s Instagram Q&A delivered: someone boldly dropped, “Can’t share how I know, I’ll get fired, but ‘Stranger Things’ coming out with a movie in 2027.” Seeing that tip, another source contributed, confirming what’s already known; there’s a spin-off series set in the future, with a new cast and storyline, and the music for that series is already in the works. We know an animated series is also coming too. But let’s circle back...that first source? They clarified they actually meant a theatrical release in 2027. Their tip was not in reference to the animated series OR the spin-off series set in the future. Is a "Stranger Things" movie official? Not yet. But that’s one rumor we’ll all be watching.
