NOBODY GETS SZA…BUT SHABOOZEY?
As we gear up for the holiday season, another celebrity romance is allegedly on the rise – starring SZA and Shaboozey.
Earlier last week, Deuxmoi received an anonymous tip that the two musicians supposedly “have been dating for months. [SZA] was recently spotted backstage at one of his shows.” While we are missing photographic evidence of the alleged couple, all the stars are pointing toward a blossoming romance between them!
Discussed on Deux/U’s November 20th podcast episode, the “Kill Bill” songstress and country rap singer are rumored to have been quietly seeing each other for the past few months. After seeing our initial coverage, an additional source reaffirmed to Deuxmoi that the “Shaboozey and SZA thing is true; they are dating.”
There could have been a few telltale, yet subtle signs of the new couple’s feelings for each other–dating back to early September. More specifically, fans went into overdrive when Shaboozey posted an Instagram photo dump on September 1st, including a video of SZA (which has since been removed). Separately, when Shaboozey performed “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” at this year’s Grammy Awards, an enchanted SZA can be seen swaying and clapping along to his good vibes at the 2:20 mark. Perhaps the romantic roots were first planted back then?
Deuxmoi’s diagnosis? The age-old friendship blossoming into more trope! Now, if only we could get the couple to collaborate on a track…
