'MORMON WIVES' UNCERTAINTY AFTER SCANDAL
After domestic violence allegations involving Taylor Frankie Paul surfaced, the fate of Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” faces uncertainty. A source tells Deuxmoi that “Cast does not want to film at all, even without TFP. Plan is to air 6 eps they have in the can.” However, another insider tells us the network is working hard to resume filming the rest of the season. In fact, discussions with the cast are expected very soon (this week actually). Meanwhile, a spin-off, ‘Mormon Wives: OC,’ is expected to begin filming in San Clemente next month. Sources say Jen Affleck, from the original cast, is rumored to join. Also rumored are Chandler and Dylan Higginson (connected to a prominent Mormon family) who are said to be friends with Jen, making them a natural fit if they join. The network’s eyes are now on OC as the next chapter but the original’s fate remains up in the air.
