Morgan Wallen's appearance on "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend has generated significant buzz. While his musical performances were undoubtedly a highlight for many, his abrupt departure from the stage during the show's goodnights segment has drawn criticism.
Viewers noted Wallen's quick exit, which deviated from the usual practice of musical guests remaining on stage to bid farewell with the cast.
However, the controversy extends beyond his stage exit. According to an exclusive Deuxmoi source, Wallen's behavior during the week leading up to the show was reportedly problematic. The source alleges that Wallen experienced "a bunch of meltdowns" and pulled out of various commitments he had agreed to.
Furthermore, the source described Wallen's demeanor as "incredibly immature," suggesting that his primary focus was to "perform, get paid, and get out of there." They also used terms like "tantrums" to characterize his alleged refusal to participate fully in the SNL production process.
An additional exclusive source alleged, "No one on set wanted anything to do with him. He was supposed to come from the other pre-tape set to do a cameo in a scene, but he had a meltdown and left early. No one really cared, they just filmed extra bits with other cast members but whenever his name was mentioned everyone was like "ughhhhh". I mean...he doesn't fit into this genre of people at all. They were asking where he was when Mikey was getting ready and they said he'd crashed out on the other set and went home."
It's important to note that these are allegations, and there has been no official confirmation or denial from Wallen's representatives or SNL. However, the combination of his stage exit and the reported on-set behavior has created a cloud of controversy surrounding his latest SNL appearance.
This incident adds to Wallen's history of generating headlines both for his music and his off-stage conduct. It remains to be seen how this will impact his public perception and future opportunities.
