MOM GROUP DRAMA: STARRING ASHLEY TISDALE
We might be only one week into 2026, but the drama still goes on…mom group edition.
ICYMI, Ashley Tisdale released a somewhat cryptic essay for The Cut on her less-than-ideal experience in a celebrity-bedazzled mom group. Some of the most notable moms in the circle allegedly included Hilary Duff (who founded the group), Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainor. Tisdale cited the women as “toxic,” having often been pushed to the sidelines at events and get-togethers. After feeling left out on multiple occasions, Tisdale took matters into her own hands and ultimately cut ties from the group, sending a break-up text of sorts.
Since the article’s publication, social media has been swirling over these “mean girl” allegations, creating a Duff vs. Tisdale online battle. Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, playfully defended his wife in an Instagram story, creating a mock cover story for The Cut with a bitey headline: “When You’re the Most Self-Obsessed Tone Deaf Person on Earth, Other Moms Tend to Shift Focus to their Actual Toddlers.”
While Deuxmoi is choosing to remain mum on the situation, we intercepted a telling piece of intel on Tisdale’s past demeanor, seemingly validating Koma’s stance. An industry source disclosed to Deuxmoi that Tisdale left a bad taste in their mouth, from a behavioral standpoint alone. So the experience goes, the insider recounted her as having a superiority complex. Upping the ante, the source spoke very highly of both Duff and Moore’s on-set behavior and work ethics, praising their “wonderful” attitudes.
Taking place over the last 24 hours, Deuxmoi also received intel that Tisdale visited an upscale hair salon in Los Angeles. As life is filled with knife-cutting ironies, a friend adjacent to the mom group was also getting her hair done at the same time. The source spilled that salon employees "were on high alert," adding that both women's presence "caused quite the stir." It would appear that neither Tisdale nor the friend crossed paths during their respective appointments.
Paparazzi wise, Tisdale was most recently seen on a phone call this week, making us wonder just what is going on behind the scenes in Sharpay Evans’s camp.
