Lana Del Rey’s husband, Jeremy Dufrene, just reminded one commenter that their relationship doesn’t require anyone else’s approval.

After Deuxmoi posted photos of the couple shopping together in Los Angeles, one commenter wrote, “I will go to my grave never understanding this relationship. And that’s okay I guess.”

Jeremy apparently spotted the comment and responded himself: “Hope you can find peace within yourself before you go to that grave. That’s all you need to do is touch a lil grass. Not 6 feet under it. It’s going to be just fine. Nothing to understand here.”

The exchange comes as Lana and Jeremy approach their second wedding anniversary in September. While public curiosity inevitably comes with being married to someone as famous as Lana, Jeremy’s response makes his position pretty clear: their relationship isn’t something fans need to understand.
