COSTNER ENSURES THESE FOOLISH RUMORS DON'T TEAR THEIR FRIENDSHIP APART
After several months of speculation from fans, actor Kevin Costner puts rumors of dating singer Jewel to rest.
Deuxmoi has been tracking this story since its inception in early December 2023, with intentions of reporting that Jewel and Kevin were just good friends. As it turns out, we were right on target!
His statement on Tuesday’s episode of The Howard Stern show stated, “Jewel and I are friends-we’ve never gone out. She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.”
Following the initial discussion of a potential relationship on the December 14, 2023 Deux/U podcast episode, an exclusive source wrote to Deuxmoi stating, “Jewel and Kevin are just friends. It was only for a pic that got leaked. Anon pls!!!”
On May 13, 2024, A Deuxmoi reader submitted a question in the Deuxmoi Instagram Q&A requesting an update on the alleged relationship. An exclusive source shared with Deuxmoi that they heard Kevin was single and has been spending time with someone who is not Jewel.
Jewel hasn’t been the only celebrity linked to Costner since his divorce to ex-wife Christine Baumgartner in late 2023. In the November 19, 2023 Deuxmoi newsletter, Deuxmoi exclusively had received intel of Kevin and actress Reese Witherspoon getting together. However, these rumors were debunked to People Magazine on November 9th by one of Reese’s reps.
