ARE THE FORMER FRIENDS REALLY RECONCILING AMID ALL THE BEN AND JEN DRAMA?
While Jen and Ben are on the rocks, rumor has it that her friendship with Leah Remini — who was famously none too pleased about Bennifer 2.0 — could also get a revival.
The recent rumors that Leah's inching her way back into Jen's corner are true but allegedly, according to one exclusive Deuxmoi source, the reconciliation is "not likely to go anywhere."
"Leah is trying to make it seem like she was some kind of fortune teller about the Ben reunion being doomed and was the brave friend who said something to J.Lo about it, and therefore was iced out. But that's not true," Deuxmoi learned. "Stevie Wonder could've seen that union was doomed. ... She was far from the only person who had misgivings about them getting together.”
Back in 2022, an exclusive source alleged to Deuxmoi that "things went south" right after the pair worked together on the 2018 movie Second Act, which Leah "milked it for all it was worth, just constantly posting about how they were best friends in the whole wide world and posting funny bloopers."
It wasn't the first time the coattail riding "really turned off" J.Lo, who was already peeved about the way Leah's book about Scientology framed their relationship, making "it seem like she risked life and death protecting J.Lo and Marc [Anthony] from being indoctrinated."
Ben coming back into the fold was just the straw that broke the camel's back, especially as neither he nor Jen really wanted to hang with Leah's husband. Despite Leah's enthusiasm to double date, she wasn't even at their wedding — either of them.
So while Jen and Leah were definitely close, exclusive Deuxmoi sources allege that Leah has "always oversold this friendship." And all her I told you so's about Ben are "not doing her any favors" with J.Lo: "Don't expect them to be seen getting lunch anytime soon."
