JENNIFER LOPEZ & BEN AFFLECK PUT ON THEIR BEST FACES FOR SUMMER AMID DIVORCE RUMORS
Update 8/9/24: As if Bennifer 2.0 ending isn’t hard enough, recent headlines are adding a tinge of hostility to the situation. An August 6th article was published on Page Six stating that Jennifer Lopez is “furious” and “humiliated” as a result of Ben Affleck allegedly putting the brakes on filing for divorce. However, Deuxmoi continues to hear a different narrative.
In a July 13th news article on Deuxmoi World, Deuxmoi reported how, out of a mutual love and respect, Ben and Jen have agreed to hold off on filing. An exclusive source previously shared, ”They’re putting on a happy face through the summer so that no one will think she’s heartbroken and devastated. At this point the only thing they both care about is that she doesn't seem like a fool. Ben wants that for her as much as she needs it for her own sake.”
Deuxmoi sources have heard that this has always been the mutually agreed upon plan from the beginning in efforts to avoid any feelings of humiliation on Jen’s part. “The plan is to show her looking happy and carefree. Having fun and being fully content with her life and choices. So by the time they officially announce, no one will be able to speculate she’s been at home sobbing and heartbroken,” explained our original source.
While this set up is the plan, our source also added how they don’t think that they’ll make it through the summer.
Update 7/13/24: Jennifer Lopez and Violet Affleck were seen this weekend shopping in The Hamptons. The pair, along with some friends, hit up stores like LoveShackFancy in Sag Harbor and the Chanel pop up in East Hampton (see below image) after having lunch at Sant Ambroeus. What does this mean for the fate of Jennifer and Ben Affleck's marriage? We don't know. But we love to see some quality time spent between stepmother and stepdaughter.
Whether we like it or not, the divorce rumors become more and more imminent for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, despite paparazzi photos of the two looking happy and at ease. But this might just be exactly the narrative they’re going for.

Here's the twist: the plan seems to be for them to announce the split later this summer. Allegedly, they both want to enjoy their summer – JLo's been spotted looking happy and carefree in the Hamptons, living her best life. This was allegedly a mutually agreed upon plan between JLo and Ben. Why the delay, you ask? Well, it seems Ben doesn't want JLo to feel embarrassed or be swarmed by negativity.
So, are they definitely over? Signs point to yes, but the official announcement is still under wraps…for now.
