Filling James Bond’s shoes is no easy feat, and the whispers surrounding the iconic character’s newest replacement seem to be ever changing.
Taking an anonymous submission with a grain of salt, a source claimed “Amazon Studios offered Elordi the Bond role. Filming starts in October [of] this year.” However, several industry-centric sources are adamant Elordi is not a contender. A source affirmed to Deuxmoi that “[Elordi] will not [play Bond]. [It] will likely be a no-name.”
And as for the filming calendar? A separate source told Deuxmoi that allegedly “they’re not even really casting at this moment because [Villeneuve] is still working on another film, ‘Dune: Part 3.’” Further chiming in on the Bond lore, the source offered to Deuxmoi that supposedly “they’re preparing to cast some time this summer. There isn’t even a writer attached to the project yet.” An additional eagle-eared source denied the Elordi rumors once more, clueing Deuxmoi into the never-ending casting rabbit hole. Per the source, “No one is locked in yet[,] but there are a few folks they’re still circling…but 99 [percent] sure it’ll be a Brit any way [you] slice it!”
Meanwhile, a recent West End attendee overheard a scintillating phone conversation at “Guess How Much I Love You?” Seemingly a studio executive on a Bond-related phone call, the source alleged that an unnamed studio had finalized the newest Bond actor.
007, where art thou?
