JACOB ELORDI: SINGLE AND READY TO MINGLE
From his formidable features to his impeccable accent and penchant for attracting Hollywood’s leading ladies, Jacob Elordi has yet to skip a beat. After officially ending his on/off four-year relationship with influencer Olivia Jade, the Australian actor appears to be wasting little time. Last week, fans caught several "Euphoria" cast members, including Elordi himself, vibing at a dive bar in Santa Monica, California. Keeping us on our toes, Deuxmoi received whispers that Elordi may be getting close to his on-screen love interest, (and newly single) Sydney Sweeney.
As outlined in the August 4th Deuxmoi Newsletter, Elordi joined co-stars Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, and Sweeney at The GasLite, a low-key bar, known “for its fun atmosphere, mouthwatering cocktails, live karaoke, and dancing.” Trading red carpets and bubbly for a night on the town, an onlooker captured Schafer, Apatow, and Sweeney belting out “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes. However, the sightings did not end there. A Deuxmoi insider noted that supposedly “Elordi was [all] over Sydney Sweeney. They weren’t trying to be incognito either.”
And this was not the first time Deuxmoi got word of a potential Elordi-Sweeney hangout session. On July 13th, a submitter eyed “Sydney and Elordi on a walk [in New York City] with a dog, [which] looked like a Golden Retriever of sorts.”
On the relationship front, Elordi shared a rather private romance with Jade, daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. The actor and influencer were first spotted together in December 2021, nearly a month after his split from Kaia Gerber. Previously addressed on Deux/U’s June 19th podcast episode, Elordi and Jade were last seen on a dinner date in April. Jade, who recently moved to Paris, has spent a significant amount of time in Europe this summer, perhaps embracing a fresh start. Just as Deuxmoi readers had sniffed a breakup all summer long (and an anonymous submission mentioned on Deux/U’s March 27th episode), the once couple seemingly broke it off for good within the last few months. Echoing a somewhat similar timeline, Sweeney and fiancé Jonathan Davino parted ways in March.
Elordi has had a nonstop year. After finishing up filming for "Wuthering Heights" with Margot Robbie, the actor jetted back to Los Angeles to shoot "Euphoria"’s incredibly delayed third season. Given the show’s ongoing filming setbacks and plot twists (note: spoilers included), one might gather that Elordi's heart has grown even fonder of Sweeney. While a potential romance may be on the horizon, Elordi and Sweeney could simply have electric chemistry. No matter their real-life relationship status, we cannot wait to see how Nate Jacobs and Cassie Howard’s next chapter transforms in the next season!
