ISLA FISHER & DEAN PHILLIPS ALLEGED ROMANCE HEATS UP
For avid listeners of the Deux/U podcast, the name Dean Phillips might sound familiar, specifically in connection with a surprising celebrity. Back on our October 17th, 2024 episode, we shared a tip suggesting that actress Isla Fisher was allegedly dating Dean Phillips, the then-House of Representative for Minnesota, former 2024 United States presidential candidate, and shrewd businessman. At the time, whispers indicated Phillips had separated from his wife and was quietly seeing Fisher.
Adding intrigue to the initial rumor, Isla Fisher was also spotted co-star Woody Harrelson at the Vikings vs. Jets game in London, appearing in the background of a jersey-laden selfie with Harrelson, Phillips, and Vikings commentator Paul Allen. Given that the Minnesota Vikings are a Minnesota-based team, this sighting naturally led to speculation that she might have been there with Dean Phillips and preferred to remain out of the public eye. At the time of Deux/U’s October 17th recording, Deuxmoi received intel from a source that Fisher and Harrelson were filming a project together, seemingly shooting the upcoming "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t". It is also worth noting that Harrelson has been friends with the congressmanfor years (and traveled around the world together), perhaps the true catalyst for this blossoming Hollywood-Capitol Hill romance.

Fast forward to this past week, and we've received an anonymous sighting that seems to corroborate the earlier whispers. According to our tipster, Phillips was spotted on vacation in St. Barts with Isla Fisher. This latest sighting, placing the pair together in a romantic holiday setting, strongly suggests that their rumored connection is still very much alive and going strong. While neither Fisher nor Phillips has publicly confirmed their relationship, the consistent sightings and the nature of their recent St. Barts getaway certainly paint a picture of an ongoing romance. It seems the initial surprising tip from last October may have been right on the money.
Isla Fisher married comedian and actor Sacha Baron Cohen in 2010, with Fisher officially confirming their divorce’s finalization on June 13th via an Instagram story. Per our Deuxmoi research, Phillips has not been photographed with his second wife Annalise Glick (married in 2019) since early 2024, further fueling those separation rumors. It is rather fitting and timely that Fisher and Phillips dipped their toes in the Caribbean sands the same week she is officially a single woman again…
