HAS JOE ALWYN FOUND HIS OWN LONDON GIRL?

After his largely publicized breakup from ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift in 2023, Joe Alwyn has allegedly dipped his toes back into the dating pool.

As addressed in last week’s Instagram Q&A, the British actor may have found a +1 just in time for the holiday season. Alwyn, who has always kept details on his personal life quite mum, has stayed out of the spotlight since he and Swift went their separate ways–aside from his own press and film appearances. Needless to say, the handsome Golden Globe nominee has not disregarded his dating life altogether. Per the Deuxmoi grapevine, sources have whispered that Alwyn has allegedly been seeing a certain someone, though the details are still murky at this time.

So just who is Alwyn spending his free time with?

Late last month, a source spilled to Deuxmoi that director, screenwriter, and producer “Lorene Scafaria attended the play, The Lady From The Sea [on October 24th at the] Bridge Theatre [in] London.” During the show's two-month stint, Alwyn has taken on the role of Heath in the reprisal of Ibsen’s play, which co-stars Alicia Vikander and Andrew Lincoln. The source added that after the performance ended, “[Alwyn and Scarfaria] went together [and] tried to stay unnoticed!”

Although their behavior sounds suspiciously dating worthy (or adjacent), the "I Love LA" producer appears to just be a supportive friend of Alwyn’s.

Since this sighting and subsequent posting, a London-based source spilled to Deuxmoi that allegedly the actor may be dating someone completely different–one whose livelihood is not spent on the silver screen or stage. The source, whose social circle has crossed paths with Alwyn's, told Deuxmoi that “he’s dating someone else. She’s Latin and went to a lot of his shows the past month.” While Deuxmoi tried to probe for more information, the source recalled her name is “something like Lucia or Sophia–but from what [they’ve] heard, she’s not ‘in the industry.’” Additionally, his potential love interest supposedly “comes from a lot of money in Latin America and spends a lot of time in London.”

Briefly discussed on Deux/U's August 14th podcast episode, Alwyn was previously linked to Ellie Rowsell, lead singer of Wolf Alice. Toward the summer's end, a source shared with Deuxmoi that allegedly their "colleagues recently saw them together [with] PDA, as well as him leaving her place several times." Without any photographic evidence, the validity of that relationship remained incredibly up in the air.

As Alwyn wraps up his theatre run this weekend, our curiosity will be peaking as to if/when he steps out with a Latin beauty in the coming weeks…
