BROADWAY PLAY DRAWS IN MAJOR CELEB CLIENTELE

Looks like Broadway is about to get a whole lot more glamorous!

The A-List crowd is eager to see the timely Henrik Ibsen drama, “An Enemy of the People” unfold live. The play is about how a doctor makes a shocking discovery about the town's new public baths. This show's got major star power on stage already, with Emmy winners Jeremy Strong (you know him from Succession) and Michael Imperioli (Sopranos fans, we see you!) leading the cast.

Celebrity sightings at Broadway productions are a frequent occurrence here at Deuxmoi. So much so, that we can’t help but wonder the reasons behind the overwhelming amount of submissions. Is there more Hollywood/Broadway crossover than we might have thought? Is it simply celebs supporting their fellow acting friends? Or perhaps they’re scoping out the competition. Whatever the reason, the theater is quite the popular celeb pastime.

Since its opening in late February, our DMs have been flooded with star studded sightings at “An Enemy of the People.” “No Hard Feelings” actor Andrew Feldman was the first to be reported, seeing the show by a Deuxmoi reader at the February 27th preview.

Since then, the roster of famous audience members has exponentially grown with Deuxmoi submissions. Anne Hathaway was among one of the first reader sightings as well as Jeremy Strong’s Succession co-star Brian Cox. Other big names that were submitted by the Deuxmoi community were Timotheé Chalamet, Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, Michael Zegen, Sting, and Julianna Marguiles.

Several exclusive Deuxmoi sources shared their experiences attending the show and had nothing but glowing endorsements about the performances and leading cast members. One exclusive eyewitness source noted the following from her February 27th attendance: “Jeremy Strong was stopping to take selfies and sign autographs for everyone waiting at the stage door. He was soft spoken, but very appreciative for the support. The show was great, and the rest of the cast was also very kind and genuine.” On March 31st, an exclusive source got the chance to speak with Jeremy and Michael post-show and reported that both actors “couldn’t have been nicer and more gracious with their time.”

“An Enemy of the People” will run through June 16th 2024 at A Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City. Based on what we’ve been hearing, it’s an absolute must-see. And hey, maybe you’ll get lucky and share a row with one of your fave A-listers, as well!
