CELEBRITY LOCK SCREENS ARE REVEALING MORE THAN EXPECTED
Forget official relationship announcements. Apparently, all it takes to confirm a rumored romance these days is a glimpse of someone’s cell phone.
In the span of one week, both Megan Moroney and Bella Hadid have sparked renewed speculation about their love lives after eagle eyed fans noticed some particularly interesting photos on their phone lock screens.
And in both cases, the men pictured appear to be the very same ones they’ve been rumored to be dating.
First up: Megan Moroney and Christian Pulisic.
The country singer and AC Milan soccer player have been romantically linked since July, when Pulisic attended Moroney’s concert in Sunrise, Florida. Additional sightings followed in Nashville, along with clues suggesting the two had spent time together in Italy. Deuxmoi also received information in September from a source alleging that Moroney and Pulisic were quietly seeing each other, further supporting the dating speculation that began over the summer.
Neither has publicly confirmed the relationship, but following Moroney’s performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, photographers captured the singer leaving Craig’s in West Hollywood with her phone in hand.
Her lock screen appeared to feature a selfie of herself and Pulisic, giving fans what may be their strongest indication yet that the rumored romance is very much real.
Just days later, Bella Hadid seemingly had a similar moment.
In a photo Bella shared from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, followers noticed that her phone’s lock screen appeared to feature a man bearing a striking resemblance to Nathan Lacy, the Colorado local she’s been romantically linked to for months.
Lacy is a fifth generation Crested Butte resident who works as an estimator and project manager for his family’s construction company. His family also has deep roots in the area’s ranching and equestrian community.
Bella and Nathan were first photographed together during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year, and rumors about their relationship intensified over the summer as Bella spent time in Crested Butte. Although a source publicly denied the dating speculation in July, maintaining that Bella was single, Deuxmoi reported on the August 6 episode of Deux/U that the two had been spotted getting affectionate at an event in Colorado.
Additional sightings followed, including reports of the pair golfing together and grocery shopping in Crested Butte. Now, the apparent photo of Nathan on Bella’s lock screen has given fans another reason to believe there’s more to their relationship than friendship.
Of course, neither Bella and Nathan nor Megan and Christian has officially confirmed their respective relationships.
But two celebrity lock screens offering potential clues about two rumored romances in the same week?
Sometimes the most revealing relationship updates aren’t posted on Instagram. They’re hiding in plain sight on someone’s phone.
