ALEX COOPER: ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS UNWELL?

Update 3/21/25: Spilling the piping hot tea in the March20th podcast episode of Deux/U, it would appear that Alex Cooper’s reputation (and network) is continuing to unravel. Deuxmoi received a lengthy anonymous submission, alleging an Alex exposé is already in the works. But just what is Father Cooper hiding?

According to Deuxmoi’s source, a “famous, well-known, well-respected magazine is working on an exposé.” The confident source revealed “that NDAs are being signed, and people are being interviewed and vetted.” While they didn’t get into the nitty-gritty details, they did say this information “is not pretty.” Clearly,Cooper has ruffled the wrong feathers in Hollywood, and it doesn’t sound like these executives will be deterring from their mission any time soon–though “Cooper and her spending power” could squash what would be the latest iteration in her PR scandal.

The once-beloved podcast host and multi-faceted entrepreneur is getting ripped left and right these days. Just this week, a famous figure (who we will keep anonymous) published their thoughts to Instagram regarding the ongoing drama. This person felt that Cooper is a girl’s girl in sheep’s clothing. Despite advocating for women in her various projects, the Call Her Daddy x Unwell empire is led by men– most predominantly by her husband Matt Kaplan. If her intentions are disingenuous, we can only imagine how the Daddy Gang will react.

And as for any Alex vs. Alix updates? We’re still waiting to hear more about their TBD bad blood.

Update 3/1/25: Amidst the ongoing Alex vs. Alix drama, there are allegedly a laundry list of reasons why Alix has had growing resentment toward her former boss, mentor, and friend. An exclusive source revealed to Deuxmoi that Alix has not appreciated Alex’s ongoing “treatment” of her–including her contract for her podcast, "The Hot Mess with Alix Earle". The source went on to say that during a "Call Her Daddy" podcast episode, “Alex got Alix very drunk and made her answer a bunch of personal questions about her and [Braxton Berrios’] relationship that made Alix uncomfortable.” And where was the TikTok star during the Unwell Super Bowl party? Nowhere to be found in any well-documented Instagram static posts.

Additionally, Deuxmoi received an email from an anonymous source who allegedly had a business interaction with Alex Cooper’s husband and Hollywood film producer, Matt Kaplan. While he might be his wife’s #1 cheerleader, the power couple could be coming in neck-and-neck for their outright  “narcissism.” The source went on to say that Kaplan equated his wife’s “power” and presence with that of Oprah–for Gen Z. He has a very particular direction of how he wants Cooper’s career to unfold, and the anonymous submitter kept it simple: “Alex Cooper is Matt Kaplan’s brand.”

As first reported in the February 13th podcast episode of Deux/U, "Call Her Daddy" Podcast Host Alex Cooper appears to have cut ties with her celebrity-adorned publicist (and Chef Mario Carbone’s fiancée) Cait Bailey. A source has since confirmed to Deuxmoi that this information is accurate. Our source alleges that Cooper wasn't thrilled about sharing a publicist with several other influencers in her network. Bailey, who has a reputation for representing some of the biggest names in the social media world, including the D'Amelio family and Alix Earle, was also the publicist for several of the influencers who were part of Cooper's "Unwell" venture.

Separately, another source alleged that Cooper and Bailey didn’t see eye-to-eye on a long-term “growth strategy” for the podcast star and "Alex preferred to do shit her own way". While there’s a lot of hearsay floating around, Alex’s girl squad might not be so tight after all, alleges our source. In the same anonymous email they revealed that Alix Earle is “waiting to pull away 100% from [the] Unwell network" and that Alex Cooper’s reputation is not in the best place right now, as “people in LA have noticed” her willingness to end female friendships–from former co-hosts to the aforementioned business partnership. Supposedly, “her difficult personality” has taken its toll on Hollywood’s elite.

We’re not sure what to think about all of this information, but we’re praying Father Cooper can redeem herself.
