CELEBS’ FAVE FROZEN YOGURT!

If the past few weeks have taught us anything, the ‘90s are making a major comeback. From capri shorts (you can blame Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber for that one) to much-anticipated sequels or film reboots, the trends are trending…again. And frozen yogurt is having another, much-deserved resurgence this summer.

Whether you are looking for a high protein treat or just want to bask in the ultimate form of nostalgia, it is about time you hopped back onto the beloved frozen dessert. From New York to Los Angeles, Deuxmoi felt it was our duty to churn out the best of the best, celebrity-approved frozen yogurt spots.

Grab your spoons because we are about to sprinkle your feed with a list of must-try Froyo spots:

New York City & The Hamptons:

GLACE:

Located on the Upper East Side, this 100% gluten free ice cream spot gained virality for its seasonal S’mores Hot Chocolate (and summer’s frozen edition). However, owner Sasha Zabar spilled that its Meyer Lemon Greek Yogurt “is the only item [he’s] seen people order every single day.” The innovative founder is “working on bringing frozen yogurt back, but in a way that’s a little different from what people are used to seeing.”

*our imaginations run wild*

Both celebrities and locals are fans of the buzzy shop. Zabar revealed that Britney Spears “reached out” to do a collaboration with them this past Valentine’s Day. Plus, Kim Kardashian took North West and her besties (Selena Gomez’s sister and Jessica Simpson’s daughter were part of the squad) there for her 11th birthday.

And the cherry on top for Lower Manhattanites? GLACE’s next location will be “somewhere that feels like a neighborhood but gets us closer to downtown,” per Zabar himself.

COQODAQ:

Although the sexy dining establishment is known for its fried chicken and luxe chicken nuggets bedazzled with caviar, their frozen yogurt shall not be missed. Inspired by the soft serve at its sister restaurant, COTE Korean Steakhouse, the COQODAQ team described the after-dinner delight as “a playful twist of passion fruit-condensed milk–delivering a sweet, creamy finale to the meal.”

David and Victoria Beckham, Meredith Marks, Nas, Lance Bass, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim are just a few notable faces who have walked through its doors–presumably leaving with a happy belly full of chicken and frozen yogurt.

Anita Gelato:

With 26 stores worldwide (including four in NYC), the gelateria serves outstanding frozen yogurt gelato. Don’t believe us? The likes of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, and Serena Williams have gotten in on the goodness.

Butterfield Market:

When you think of a NYC-based specialty market with Erewhon-like vibes and the lines (for frozen yogurt!) to prove it, Butterfield instantly comes to mind. CMO and Principal Joelle Obsatz remained mum on their celebrity following, but she noted that they “have served actors, athletes, influencers, musicians…and plenty of surprising faces.”

Often teaming up with NYC-based influencers and brands like Farm Rio, the family business is serving consistency and sweet childhood memories, topped with good ol’ neighborhood vibes. She noted that “popular go-to orders include a classic swirl with rainbow sprinkles, tart yogurt with fresh berries, and seasonal specials that people wait for all year.”

BuddhaBerry:

This Hamptons-centric frozen yogurt eatery is not one to miss. Achieving widespread success, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Paul McCartney, and Julianne Moore have been known to frequent its Sag Harbor address (there’s a second outpost in Southampton). Lactose intolerant? Non-dairy fans rejoice – they’ve got sorbet for you too.

Honorable Mentions:

Mimi’s has become the city’s must-taste frozen yogurt haven since its opening earlier this month. The Gyro Project and Madison Fare offer some legendary creations as well. Meanwhile, Birdie’s will soon open its doors in the West Village–it’s only a matter of time before local legends like Bradley Cooper, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Andy Cohen check it out.

Los Angeles:

The Bigg Chill:

Although this iconic storefront has been around for nearly 40 years, Demi Lovato didn’t always have the best relationship with TBC and its menu options. Fast forward four years later, and the singer has made self-deprecating amends with the hotspot. Allegedly, a source eyed Lovato noshing on the New York Cheesecake flavor with rainbow sprinkles when she recently visited. We love a full circle moment!

Additionally, Deuxmoi tipsters have spotted the likes of Patrick Schwarzenegger (with mom Maria Shriver and fiancée Abby Champion), Chris Pratt, Julie Bowen, Jonah Hill and his grandmother, Bethenny Frankel, Dakota Fanning, and Sasha Obama curbing their sweet tooth. A Deuxmoi reader overheard Frankel ordering very on brand: Carbolite with sugar free chocolate chips. You might have to wait in line for a bit, but your tastebuds will thank you later.

Yoga-urt:

What would the City of Angels be without an epic organic, plant-based frozen yogurt shop? Vegan or not, Yoga-urt has swirled for some of Hollywood’s most recognizable names. Owner Melissa Schulman cited Billie Eilish (Chocolate + Peanut Butter, occasionally with hot fudge), Olivia Rodrigo, Rooney Mara & Joaquin Phoenix, and Kesha as repeat customers. With over 30 handcrafted flavors and four locations throughout LA, it’s giving dairy a run for its money.

Go Greek Yogurt:

When you’re debating whether to get dessert or not, the answer is (usually) yes. Look no further for a guilt-free indulgence than Go Greek. Foodie Chrissy Teigen once described the mini chain “like Pinkberry but better.” Kylie Jenner, Kim & Kourtney, Charlie Puth, and Ashley Benson have been seen with GGY bowls too.

Needless to say, frozen yogurt is not going out of style any time soon. Light, airy, and filled with probiotics, the classic treat is here to stay.

Sugar high? Guaranteed.
