WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN TAYLOR SWIFT AND KELEIGH TELLER?
For a time, Keleigh Teller was one of the more visible members of Taylor Swift’s inner circle.
Keleigh, a model and influencer who is married to actor Miles Teller, regularly appeared alongside Swift at dinners, birthday celebrations, football games and other public outings. She also frequently posted about their friendship on social media and occasionally responded to fans in the comments.
Keleigh and Miles also appeared in Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version)” music video, which was directed by Blake Lively.
Miles was also rumored to have played some role in bringing Swift and Travis Kelce together. At the time, Deuxmoi heard that he may have been one of the people to help facilitate an introduction or passed someone’s phone number along, although the precise details were never confirmed.
Eventually, however, the public posts and appearances stopped. Fans began asking why Swift and Keleigh no longer seemed to spend time together, a question that has followed them for nearly two years.
Those questions intensified after Keleigh and Miles were absent from Swift and Kelce’s July 3 wedding. Information shared across multiple Deux/U episodes and in a more recent conversation with a source, offers several possible explanations for the friendship’s apparent demise.
What Deuxmoi Reported in August 2025
On the August 7, 2025 episode of Deux/U, Deuxmoi addressed the growing curiosity surrounding Swift and Keleigh’s friendship.
At the time, Deuxmoi had heard that Keleigh had been posting too much about Swift on social media and had become overly public about their friendship.
Keleigh frequently shared photos and details from their time together, while also engaging with fans in the comments. According to what Deuxmoi had heard, that level of public access may have become uncomfortable for Swift.
In this podcast episode, Deuxmoi did not claim that the social media issue definitively ended the friendship. At this time, it was noted that the two could still have been communicating or seeing one another privately, even if those interactions were no longer being posted.
Still, the friendship did not appear to be as close as it once was.
Deuxmoi also suggested that Swift had generally begun tightening her circle during that period. That could have been for several reasons unrelated to Keleigh personally, including a broader desire for privacy.
The Birthday Ring Controversy
Another incident discussed during the August 2025 episode involved a large ring Swift wore during her December 2023 birthday celebrations in New York City.
Swift had been photographed during a night out with Keleigh, Miles and other friends while wearing the statement ring. Because it happened near the beginning of her relationship with Kelce, fans began speculating that he had given it to her. The speculation was simply that it may have been a birthday gift from Kelce.
Deuxmoi had also heard around that time that Kelce had purchased jewelry for Swift’s birthday. Based on that information, we wrongly assumed the ring might have been one of the pieces he bought.
Keleigh then took to her Instagram account to publicly correct the story. She said she had given Swift the ring and indicated that it had been personally or custom made for her.
However, Deuxmoi later received an anonymous email containing a link to what appeared to be the same ring on the website of a wholesale jeweler called Quintessence Jewelry.
Deuxmoi posted side-by-side images of Swift’s ring and the ring listed by the wholesaler. The item was reportedly sold out and could not be purchased directly by ordinary customers through the wholesale website.
At the time, Deuxmoi questioned whether the ring could simply have been a quickly produced duplicate, however, that timing would have made that difficult, since the apparently identical version was located shortly after Keleigh’s statement.
The discovery raised questions about whether the ring had actually been custom made specifically for Swift as described.
Deuxmoi later heard that the scrutiny surrounding “ring gate” may have become another source of tension between Swift and Keleigh.
The Wedding Renewed the Questions
After Swift and Kelce’s wedding, the friendship became a topic of conversation all over again. Keleigh and Miles were not among the guests, which appeared significant considering how publicly associated they had once been with Swift.
Around that time, the Daily Mail published a story suggesting Keleigh had distanced herself from Swift because she did not like how Swift came across in leaked text messages connected to the legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
That version of events suggested Keleigh had been the person to step away from the friendship.
What Was Shared on Deux/U in July 2026
On the July 16 Deux/U episode, Deuxmoi had received a DM from someone claiming to have information about the situation.
According to that account, Keleigh had not been invited to the wedding and was no longer speaking to Swift. The source claimed that Keleigh had blocked Swift after allegedly receiving repeated phone calls from her.
The source also claimed that one of Keleigh’s friends spoke to Swift at the wedding and asked why Keleigh was not there. According to the source, Swift allegedly responded that Keleigh was invited to every event she held, provided she picked up the phone.
The submission also suggested that political differences may have contributed to the divide, characterizing Keleigh and her family as more conservative. The source further claimed that Swift was accustomed to getting what she wanted and that Keleigh was someone who did not automatically give her that.
Another allegation was that Swift did not call Keleigh and Miles after their home was affected by the California fires. Deuxmoi has not previously heard that claim and does not know if it is accurate.
This entire version of the situation stood in stark contrast to what we had heard before. In 2025, the primary explanation had been that Keleigh was too public about the friendship on social media. The newer submission portrayed Keleigh as the person who had rejected Swift’s efforts to reconnect.
The Latest Information Points Back to Social Media and Brand Deals
This week, an additional source has now offered a third and far more detailed version of what allegedly happened.
According to this source, the leaked Blake Lively messages had nothing to do with the end of the friendship.
The source alleged the real issue was that Keleigh had become overly invested in her association with Swift and was allegedly using the friendship to increase her own visibility. According to the account, Swift eventually felt that Keleigh was treating their friendship and access to her as a commercial opportunity.
The source also alleged Keleigh had been rude or entitled toward members of Swift’s family and friend group, which added to the tension.
That characterization closely aligns with the original information Deuxmoi shared in August 2025: that Keleigh had become too public and too comfortable using the friendship on social media.
What Allegedly Happened at the Super Bowl
The latest source pointed specifically to the Super Bowl as an important moment in the breakdown.
According to the source, Keleigh had her own suite at the game and had not initially been invited into Swift’s suite. However, she allegedly attempted to enter Swift’s suite.
The source claimed Keleigh was posting brand-related content that day and that Swift allegedly became annoyed because the experience felt less like a friend being present and supporting her boyfriend and more like an opportunity to create promotional content.
The source further alleged that Keleigh tried to force her way into Swift’s suite and became confrontational with security while demanding to be allowed inside. According to this version of events, Swift had reached a point where she felt nearly every shared experience was being turned into content.
The source claims that was what ultimately pushed Swift to distance herself.
Attempts to Reconcile
Another source also claimed that Keleigh has been attempting to repair the friendship since the Super Bowl. This directly contradicts the information shared on Deux/U two weeks ago, which alleged that Keleigh had blocked Swift and was refusing to take her calls.
The source suggested that the recent stories portraying Keleigh as the person who rejected Swift may have been an attempt to save face after the press reported that she had not been invited to the wedding. Again, none of those claims has been publicly confirmed by Swift, Keleigh or their representatives.
So What Actually Ended the Friendship?
The various accounts conflict on several major details.
One version says Keleigh became too public about the friendship and used her access to Swift for social media attention and brand opportunities.
Another says Keleigh was the person who cut Swift off, blocked her and refused to answer her calls.
The newest account says the opposite: that Keleigh has been trying to win Swift back since the Super Bowl and that Swift was the one who ultimately had enough.
However, one theme has now surfaced more than once.
The original information from August 2025 and the latest source both suggest Swift became uncomfortable with how publicly and commercially Keleigh handled their friendship. The birthday ring controversy, the alleged Super Bowl suite incident and the constant social media posting could all fit within that larger pattern.
What is clear is that Keleigh and Miles were seemingly not present at the Swift and Kelce’s wedding, despite once being publicly associated with Swift’s inner circle.
Neither Swift nor Keleigh has publicly explained what happened between them. Until one of them does, the precise reason for the friendship’s end remains unconfirmed.
