TAYLOR SWIFT & BLAKE LIVELY’S ALLEGED LOW-KEY REUNION
As Taylor Swift continues to shatter records with her new album, The Life of A Showgirl, she is throwing unexpected curveballs our way in the friendship department. Call it what you want, but Deuxmoi has heard that the global phenomenon may have recently met up with her (former?) bestie, Blake Lively. Combining Deuxmoi’s knowledge with Swift’s own Easter Eggs, we are starting to wonder if the friendship was not ruined after all…
Discussed on Deux/U’s October 9th podcast episode, a discreet source has told Deuxmoi that Swift and Lively may have allegedly seen each other in the last few weeks. While we have been sworn to the insider’s privacy, it would appear that Swift and Lively could potentially be in a good place. It is unclear what their relationship has excatly looked like since Lively filed her widely documented "It Ends With Us" lawsuit against former co-star, Justin Baldoni–narrowly involving Swift as well. However, Deuxmoi’s source confidently stated that their meeting was not strained, rather friends just being friends.
Adding further fuel to this speculation, Swifties noticed Swift wearing a stunning Lorraine Schwartz bracelet for album promo that Blake seemingly also donned to last year’s London premiere of "It Ends With Us". Of course, it could be a coincidence, but we have a feeling the fans are onto something. When does Swift ever just wear something for show? And as we previously reported, Swift’s new song, “CANCELLED!” is allegedly about Lively’s infamous suit and well…getting cancelled. The track empathizes with a friend’s tarnished reputation, drawing sympathy rather than daggers at Lively.
While none of this information is confirmed by Swift or Lively, it is hard to believe the musician would ever stray too far from the actress: Swift is the godmother of Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughters, James, Betty, and Inez. Whether they are swapping stories in each other’s Tribeca apartments or texting life updates, we cannot see Swift shirking her godmother duties altogether. Perhaps their friendship has just become less about the spotlight and more about quality, one-on-time time in the comfort of their homes.
And maybe the Lively-Reynolds household has even been bestowed with one of Swift’s prized sourdough loaves….
