ARE AYO EDEBIRI & PAUL MESCAL A THING?

Could sparks be flying between ‘The Bear’ Oscar winner Ayo Edebiri and ‘Normal People’ star Paul Mescal? A story on Ayo’s Instagram posted on St. Patrick’s Day kicked speculation into high gear. The snap showed the actors laughing side-by-side, with Edebiri's arm playfully wrapped around Mescal's shoulder.

While some fans might be manifesting the potential match up, an exclusive source threw a bucket of cold water on the idea. The source alleges, "She tried to get with him, and he rejected her. Stans need to stop shipping them because it's making her delusional."

Adding fuel to the fire, author Emily Henry, known for her hit novel “Beach Read," recently reposted the same photo on her own Instagram account. This has fans wondering if Edebiri and Mescal might be co-starring in an upcoming adaptation of the novel.

Neither Edebiri nor Mescal have addressed the dating rumors publicly.  Whether they're just friends or something more, their St. Patrick's Day selfie has certainly captured everyone's attention.
